Gavin Ander has been the Manager of Sommerville Disability Support Services Centre for over 10 years. As manager he is responsible for the oversight of the organization both operational and financial. He has over 15 years of accounting and finance experience which he puts to good use to ensure that the Society operates in a fiscaly efficient manner.
However this is not Gavins first stint with the organization. Between 1986 and 1989, when the organization was then “The Wanganui Branch of the Crippled Children Society” Gavin was the minibus driver and computer tutor. He left to pursue an accounting degree and stated that “he would return”.
Gavin interests include his wife and seven children, motor cycles and working voluntary with young people.
